We understand that accidents happen, people get sick and/or emergencies occur. We will do our best to accommodate these rare occasions with grace. Unfortunately, we do record these occurrences so as to prevent abuse of the policy. We understand this may come across as shrewd and our goal is to be preventative in order to protect and accommodate our team and guests.

In the event that you need to cancel your appointment, please be sure to give us a minimum of a 24-hour notice. This allows other guests to book an appointment during this time slot. Any appointments that are canceled with less than a 24-hour notice are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of all scheduled service(s). Any appointments that are ‘no show’ will be subject to 100% of all the scheduled service(s).



Our Policy for Our Everyday Guests



Our Bridal packages require a reservation prior to the wedding date. A 50% non-refundable down payment is due at the time of reservation and some packages may include additional fees. All Wedding Party & Bridal service appointment cancellations will need to be made 90 days before the scheduled appointment date(s).

Our policies

At Sensa we strive for top-notch service, and we always guarantee our work. If you are not completely satisfied with your hair, please contact our guest services team within 14 days of your appointment by calling us at 206-395-2060 or emailing frontdesk@sensasalon.com with photos explaining the issue and our salon coordinators will be happy to schedule you in for a fix. 

What if I am unhappy with my hair service?

If you don’t love your new products once you get home, you can return your products within 14 days.

What is your product return policy?

Sensa Salon offers free WiFi for our guests, and we welcome you to use it to work on your laptop or other devices during your appointment. 

Do you have WiFi? Can I work during my appointment?

YES! Please feel free to bring in your pup with you to your appointment. We only ask that you bring in animals that enjoy other dogs/people and can quietly wait for the duration of your appointment. 

Is your salon dog friendly?

Salons are notoriously not a great place for kiddos- hot tools, sharp objects, and people working very carefully are all things that are hard for children to avoid in our space. We ask that you please do not bring small children to your appointment for their safety as well as keeping a calm and relaxing atmosphere. We offer kids cuts, but we do not have kids pricing options.

Do you do kids hair services and/or allow children at your salon?

On federal holidays and Sundays street parking is free and unrestricted. Please keep in mind that there is no parking on 1st avenue from 3-7pm & nothing ruins an amazing hair appointment like having to track down your towed vehicle! We recommend using public transportation or rideshare services when possible, to avoid having to find parking in the city. If you are driving, keep in mind that parking in Seattle can be time consuming, and we advise leaving yourself extra time to ensure you can find an appropriate spot before your appointment. 

For parking your car near the salon, we recommend using one of the many neighboring parking garages or U-Park lots for appointments longer than two hours due to the 2-hour limit on most street parking downtown. If your appointment is less then then 2 hours, street parking is the easiest and least expensive way to park, but make sure you leave with plenty of time to find a spot! A few lots we recommend are:

Where should I park?

An in-depth consultation is included with all appointments, whether that is cut, color, styling, or a smoothing treatment. If you are looking to make a big change, book a specialty color service, or would like to chat with a stylist in person, we highly recommend you book a complimentary consultation first to ensure you are booked for the correct timing, service, and accurately price quoted. We also require consultations prior to booking extension installs, bleach and tones, and pintura highlights due the varied timing and pricing in these services.

Do I need a consultation prior to my appointment?

We have a 24-hour cancellation policy, which means you can cancel your appointment up to one day before the time of your service. We ask that you please respect our stylists time and livelihood by always notifying us if you will not be coming to your appointment.

What is your no-show/late cancellation policy?

Yes! We are always accepting new clients. Occasionally a particular stylist may temporarily close their schedules to new guests, but we always have stylists who are ready to welcome you to our Sensa family with open arms! 

Are you accepting new clients?

We are by appointment only due to our salon rarely having walk-in availability. If you are looking to come in same day, call or text our front desk at 206-395-2060 to check for last-minute openings on our stylists’ books. Most clients book out their appointments weeks in advance to ensure they are on our schedule, but you can also be added to our waitlist if you are looking for a specific time or date or to be notified if there is availability before your scheduled appointment.
